Shake Rattle Shatter is the second EP of original music from rockers, Under The Influence, for Innerthump Records. This was also the second project for the band and platinum awarded producer Ken Paulakovich.
The two acoustic tracks presented here came about organically during the recording session. The guitars were recorded simultaneously around one microphone with overdubbing as the arrangements evolved. The bass drum sound in ‘Long As You Live‘ is actually Tyler making a ‘thump’ on the wall of the studio stairwell. Mic’d up just right, it was magic. The album’s single ‘Kick it‘ garnered attention and airplay from national Rock Radio stations and the album is considered a classic by UTI afficionados. |
