Legends are made in fortune and misfortune, in antiquity and in our own time. They live as a model and reminder for what is possible and as a warning to pushing the edges of life itself.
In this instance, Legends is a brick and mortar venue at the commercial compound on the corner of Belt and Faraon in my current home town. You can push lots of boundaries there including your volleyball spike or perhaps bowling that perfect game. They’ve got a club there too. Now on Wednesday and Sunday nights you can push your personal envelope in your search for awesome live music.
I’ve been invited to participate on the few weeks I’m home this summer. Just one man, a guitar and a propensity for “flooring it”, playing to the edges of common reality. Stuff that Legends are made of? Well, that seems slightly exaggerated. Won’t keep me from a blind leap into the proverbial unknown. (so long as that includes a setlist of familiar hits.)
